HI-Québec City Hostel is located in the heart of Old Quebec city, inside the walls and fortifications of this UNESCO World Heritage Site. This characterful hostel is housed in a former convent and is within walking distance from the Château Frontenac and main attractions of the city.

HI-Québec City offers dorms and private rooms with or without bathroom, a café Bistro open for breakfast, free Wi-Fi, bar, pool table, table tennis, living room with TV and library and an outside yard. Daily activities are organised including pub crawls and a ferry tour to take in the magnificent view of Chateau Frontenac and Montmorency Falls.

The Old Town has wonderful historical buildings, beautiful fortifications and narrow cobbled streets which are best enjoyed on foot. Cycling is also a good option as Quebec offers a system of bike paths that run through parks and close to many of the city’s local attractions.

Wait until the next day to throw people's food away from in the fridge. I came back in the afternoon on my checkout day to collect my food, and whoever cleaned the kitchen threw it out or donated it. I had expensive cheese in my basket! When the label asks you to write your checkout date, it does not tell you that it will be thrown out that same day. Please be more clear about the food policy. I lost $15-20 of food, which is the equivalent of a night in the hotel. Not cool.
