Hostelling International is a worldwide network of Not-for-Profit Youth Hostel Associations

Here at Hostelling International we strive to unite young travellers with unique experiences, support local communities and protect the planet, all whilst giving back to our network of hostels.

Unfortunately, following the international state of concern, you will notice that some of the hostels listed on our website are currently unavailable to book due to the Covid-19 virus. This pandemic has severely affected us as a charity, and it is with heavy hearts that we can only apologise. We are working to ensure that this has minimal effect on your travel plans, but also ask for your understanding during this crisis.

We believe that exploration and travel lead to a better understanding of other cultures, and in turn that creates a peaceful, smarter and more tolerant world. When this is over, (and it will be), it will also be the era for solidarity and appreciation. This is and has been our mission for over 100 years and we look forward to the day where we can resume business as usual.
