The Heritage House hostel is located in downtown Halifax, just 200m from the bus and train stations, so getting here is easy! Halifax, founded in 1749, to establish British strength in North America has much history and culture, including a cool, summer Jazz Festival, a funky Busker's Festival, the International Tattoo, and the Titanic Graveyard.

The 160-year-old heritage building is clean and safe and exudes a great vibe. Our private/family rooms, dorm rooms all include linen in the cost. There are coin operated internet kiosks and free Wi-Fi as well as laundry for your convenience.

In summer time we host a great Wednesday Pub Crawl, a Friday BBQ, and pancake breakfasts three times a week. The hostel is close to the city's best music, pubs, and Harbour Front and some of the best seafood you'll enjoy in Canada.

I didn't like the fact that non checked in guests were allow in the property that felt unsafe to me. I think there should be breakfast includes as this would give people the chance to chat more which seemed to be awkward otherwise. Liked the TV room but maybe a door would help reduce noise for other people? Loved the videos
