The Heritage House hostel is located in downtown Halifax, just 200m from the bus and train stations, so getting here is easy! Halifax, founded in 1749, to establish British strength in North America has much history and culture, including a cool, summer Jazz Festival, a funky Busker's Festival, the International Tattoo, and the Titanic Graveyard.

The 160-year-old heritage building is clean and safe and exudes a great vibe. Our private/family rooms, dorm rooms all include linen in the cost. There are coin operated internet kiosks and free Wi-Fi as well as laundry for your convenience.

In summer time we host a great Wednesday Pub Crawl, a Friday BBQ, and pancake breakfasts three times a week. The hostel is close to the city's best music, pubs, and Harbour Front and some of the best seafood you'll enjoy in Canada.

I had to leave early in the morning and had to leave my breakfast things behind as the kitchen didn't open until 0730

I had a really good time staying at the HI-Halifax. Met a lot of great people and the stuff was always helpful with questions.
