The Ein Gedi hostel is set in a breath-taking location residing at the lowest point in the world, facing the Dead Sea. Looming above the hostel are the spectacular Yehuda Desert cliffs.

All rooms at the Ein Gedi hostel have air conditioning, a shower and bathroom, TV, coffee-making facilities and some also include a mini fridge. Some of the rooms have a private balcony looking over the Dead Sea. Facilities include three halls with audio-visual equipment, free Internet access, complimentary breakfast and additional meals are available upon request. Please note that all food is Kosher.

Ein Gedi is an oasis in the desert and a green Garden of Eden in the wilderness. One of the most exciting places in Israel, Ein Gedi combines a wild, natural setting with a primeval panorama, archaeology, tourist attractions and spas. Its unusual climate and atmosphere make it a place for a unique desert adventure.

My wife an I are HI members and booked through the HI website and we did not receive our discount, and when we arrived they said you had to book through their own website to receive it. So that was not fun, all in all it was nice.
