Welcome to our hostel

The Ein Gedi hostel is set in a breath-taking location residing at the lowest point in the world, facing the Dead Sea. Looming above the hostel are the spectacular Yehuda Desert cliffs.

All rooms at the Ein Gedi hostel have air conditioning, a shower and bathroom, TV, coffee-making facilities and some also include a mini fridge. Some of the rooms have a private balcony looking over the Dead Sea. Facilities include three halls with audio-visual equipment, free Internet access, complimentary breakfast and additional meals are available upon request. Please note that all food is Kosher.

Ein Gedi is an oasis in the desert and a green Garden of Eden in the wilderness. One of the most exciting places in Israel, Ein Gedi combines a wild, natural setting with a primeval panorama, archaeology, tourist attractions and spas. Its unusual climate and atmosphere make it a place for a unique desert adventure.

The Ein Gedi hostel is located to go to the Dead Sea or Ein Gedi Nature Reserve, but the staff provided incorrect information about both areas, and there was no other information, such as maps or brochures, available at the hostel. The room I was in had five beds and only four keys, so one person had to count on the rest of us for room access. This is ridiculous; it is neither difficult nor expensive to get a new key made for the room. Breakfast was very good, as was the scenery-great location!

Wieso steht nirgendwo, dass der Strand gesperrt ist? Und, dass man ohne Auto aufgeschmissen ist?
