Pforzheim-Dillweißenstein hostel in the Nagoldtal valley is set in a real piece of history! It’s integrated into parts of a listed building: the ruins of "Rabeneck" Castle. Rabeneck Castle, a lowland castle, was built around 1240 by the lords of Weißenstein and inhabited until 1295.
There is a total of 96 beds in four-bed rooms. All rooms have a washbasin as well as a shower/toilet. There are 6 en suite rooms for caregivers/supervisors. The hostel has 3 common rooms and 1 recreation room. Conference equipment includes a CD player, DVD player, Internet access (WLAN), Overhead projector, Screen and TV set.
Opposite the hostel there’s an outdoor swimming pool and there are also high-altitude hiking trails of the Black Forest Association, which go as far as Basel in Switzerland. How about a visit to the jewellery Museum in the Reuchlinhaus, the DDR Museum to talk to witnesses, or learn more about the world of jewellery at the Technical Museum. Enjoy a walk on the Nagold or work out in the climbing forest area which is located in the beautiful wildlife park, Pforzheim.
What travellers think
communication with inexperienced receptionist was not ideal. We could have got a room for the three of us (boys from same family) but we were put together with other guest while there were rooms available. But this was no problem after all. Altogether a nice experience. Very good breakfast and nice overall atmosphere.

J'ai annulé ma réservation le jour-même où elle a été effectuée, après versement de l'acompte. J'estime que le remboursement m'était du compte-tenu de la rapidité de mon annulation, qui a eu lieu quelques heures seulement après le versement de l'acompte.
