This passive solar design eco-hostel incorporates many features that protect and complement the environment of the Grampians National Park. These include solar electricity and many state-of-the-art energy and water conservation processes. YHA Grampians Eco Hostel has a very relaxed and laid-back atmosphere and is great to visit all year round. The friendly managers will make you feel welcome the minute you arrive. The hostel has two fully equipped kitchens, two cosy lounges with wood-fire heaters, free Wi-Fi in communal areas, free bike hire and board games, as well as DVD’s to borrow. Guests are also welcome to use the produce from the veggie patch and fruit frees, plus free range eggs and herbs from the organic herb garden.
