New England

13 Entries

In 1620, British pilgrims settled at Plymouth, Massachusetts, and New England was born. Today, this region of the USA encompasses six states: Connecticut, Massachusetts, Maine, Vermont, New Hampshire and Rhode Island. The region is well-loved for its windswept beaches, charming seaside towns and idyllic island resorts which are scattered along the Atlantic coast. They attract masses of tourists during the warm summer months. The peninsula of Cape Cod comprises four regions and three islands, all of which offer attractions, unique culture, and a friendly atmosphere. Further inland, the city of Boston is famous for the prestigious Harvard University but also offers a magnitude of museums, historical landmarks, parks, shops, eateries, and nightlife. With hostels dotted around various New England locations, the region is yours to explore.
