Winner of the ‘Friendliest Hostel 2012’ Hi-5ive Award, Wiki Hostel & Green Village will make you feel at home and give every visitor a stay to remember. The hostel has a unique style; a lush green oasis just 30 minutes from Rome downtown.
Wiki Hostel offers dorms, private and family rooms, free continental breakfast, free Wi-Fi, a kitchen and barbecue area, a Finnish sauna and gym and the free ‘Wiki shuttle’ will ferry guests between the hostel and local railway station. In the summer you will find a small but refreshing pool and hammocks and swings to relax in, and throughout the year there are weekly activities such as cross cultural dinners and pizza parties.
The area around Wiki Hostel is known as Castelli Romani where you can visit the Palazzo Rospigliosi palace, the town of Tondo, ancient churches, a local flea market and organic food farmers market.
What travellers think
Somehow our last minute reservation was missed but they gave us great accommodations. We had a little trouble finding the address with our GPS but the locals called for us and we were given directions. Breakfast was a little less than we hoped for but we will definitely come again the next time we visit Rome and stay longer so we can participate in their activities. It was probably the funnest hostel we've stayed at yet. Staff was great.

The staff is very friendly. The rooms are cleaned daily. The facilities are attractive and well-maintained with a swimming pool, gym, self-catering kitchen, WLAN and four PCs with Internet access, a reliable punctual shuttle service to and from the train station. Actually everything is super – or would be if it weren’t for the breakfast, which can only be described as a disaster.
