We are happy to stay with my friends because we are more concerned about security, ease of transportation and most of all YHA London St Pauls is in a very good location. Staff is very friendly, and informative whilte the hostel is clean. The only thing that gives us a hassle is that, there's no lift/elevator and we have to climb up the stairs with our heavy backpack and luggages on the 3rd floor. Our room is super far and there's the internet connection is only available in the reception area.

I camped here once a year for a decade now, but more and more modest single rooms (without a sink, light bulbs don't burn). Service remains worse, but prices rise. Next time I'll look for something better elsewhere!

The hostel does not have a self-catering kitchen; hence, it would be a good chance for any hosteler with a deeper pocket to stay at St. Paul's when they want to try English culinary specialties in pubs.

I've been very impressed by the friendliness of the staff, everyone have been so kind and helpful with me. Even during night time or with a lot of people to serve. The hostel itself is located in superb location, easy and fast to reach almost anything. The price is fair (for a city like London) and clean enough.

The shower near my room only had one temperature - boiling hot. This was impossible to use as a shower. In fact I feel the whole building was over heated (but I felt that was the case in most place in Europe). The toilets didn't flush very well. Apart from that I loved being so close to St.Pauls and hearing the bells ringing out the time. It was great being in walking distance to the Tate and the Globe. Nice atmosphere in the hostel. Food was not that good, but OK.
