Once the school for St Paul’s Cathedral choir boys, YHA St Pauls is just minutes from the West End by tube or bus yet provides a quiet retreat after a hectic day exploring. Looking out onto a truly iconic London scene, the hostel retains many original features including an oak panelled chapel and the headmaster's study.
Facilities include Wi-Fi, Internet access, TV room, games room, common room, laundry and lockers. Evening meals are available in the licensed restaurant.
YHA London St Pauls is the perfect place for a cheap city break or weekend away. Discover the city’s past at the nearby Museum of London or venture across the Millennium Bridge to Tate Modern and other South Bank attractions.
What travellers think
Public facilities are generally ok, while the rooms don't look as cozy as the lobby. Beds simply consist of several pieces of boards, the light is quite dim. No reading at all. You don't wont to stay in the room except no choice for sleep. According to locals, the breakfast really worths it if you know what British breakfast is about.

I liked the overall atmosphere of this hostel - very hip and cozy. It was clean and comfortable and had lots of nice areas to chill out in in the evenings. My only complaint is that it's sort of hard to find from the train station (granted, I came in at night with luggage), but otherwise I had a great stay! Breakfast was tasty too.
