Formerly a Victorian hotel acquired by the National Trust to preserve and protect this most unique location, this newly restored building now offers first-class facilities and has stunning views out to sea over Lizard Point. Almost the most southerly building in England, it provides a superb base for exploring the spectacular coastline of this historic peninsula. This hostel is also within easy reach of all the exciting attractions west Cornwall has to offer.

A very beautifull building with a very clean kitchen with a lot of equipment! Beautifull views from the hostel, we saw a romantic sunset! Reading a book in the 'lounge' is very relaxing. To improve : tell people when they arrive about the sounds of the lighthouse. In the middle of the night, the lighthouse started to make of lot of 'beep's'. At that moment I remembered to have seen ear plugs at the reception desk in the evening, but at that moment I didn't realised why they were there...

Laut wegen Sicherheitstüren, nachts Nebelhörner des Leuchtturms, enge und kurze Betten. Verbessern: Bessere Betten und Türen, die nicht zuschletzen.
