Getting to us

Getting to us

Airport
Queenstown is our nearest airport. From there you can take a public bus or a taxi to the town to meet scheduled buses.
Bus
There are scheduled buses all year between Queenstown and Glenorchy. Some buses come to Kinloch but only if there's enough demand. From Glenorchy we provide boat transfers to the YHA for $15pp.
Ferry/Boat
We offer boat transfers between Glenorchy and Kinloch for $15pp.
Taxi
From Queenstown it's about $240 due to the distance and lack of return fare.
Car
There's only one road from us to Queenstown and it's stunning! You will drive through Glenorchy on the way and then around the head of the lake. Please note that the last 9km is an unsealed gravel road.
