Welcome to our hostel

Have a fun stay in a folly and enjoy the variety of excellent walking available near YHA Eyam, on the boundary of the contrasting White and Dark Peak areas.

This captivating Victorian folly resembles a tiny turreted castle perched on the hillside overlooking historic Eyam. Two thirds of its population was wiped out during the Great Plague. Trace the tale as you wander around the village, or enjoy the excellent walking trails in the surrounding White and Dark Peak.

Delicious home-cooked meals are available at this fully licensed hostel. There is capacity for 60 guests and facilities include TV, self-catering kitchen and games room.

would have liked some advance warning about the distance between public transport and the hostel - almost a mile, all up a steep hill, with 60lbs of baggage, at 9pm, for a 70 year old female.... No public telephone, no wifi, how do travelers access the outside world? As a Canadian, I was concerned about not letting anyone know I'd arrived safely.
