Comfortable and inviting, this former school is at the heart of the village on the edge of Blaxhall Heath surrounded by wildlife and beautiful countryside. Just down the road from the world famous Snape Maltings Concert Hall, theres so much to see and do, you’ll come back time and again. Our perfect day would be a trip to National Trust Sutton Hoo to explore the world of the Anglo Saxon Kings, fish & chips at Aldeburgh with a promenade up the beach to see the outstanding ‘Scallop Shell’ sculpture, ending with a wander round the nature reserve at RSPB Minsmere to see as many birds, deer and other wildlife as you could dream of. Getting to the hostel: Take Anglian Buses #165 Ipswich-Aldeburgh. Parking available. Yes 10km from Melton station bus #165 picks up outside railway station.
