Très propre et confortable, soacieux, aéré. Seule difficulté est l’accès de la gare, longue côte à pied mais il y a les bus. Vraiment très agréable séjour !

We had a reservation for a family of four, but had to try 4 rooms, before we gave up further search for a less smelly room. We've been at other YHAs in Britain (Tintagel, Canterbury). The experience was different in many ways.

I was thrilled by the beautiful location and the atmospheric building. Loved my stay, despite the presence of two noisy school groups. Laundry facilities were handy. Lovely garden. Great that there is a bus stop right in front of the hostel. I love the spacious self catering kitchen. I know the hostel is going to close for renovations. I hope this won't mean that the kitchen is going to become tiny and be replaced by a massive catering counter for meals to buy... Please don't change too much!

Im Zimmer befanden sich nur die vier Betten. Kein Tisch und kein Stuhl, kein kleiderbügel. Also viel zu wenig Ablagemöglichkeiten. Zimmer sehr hellhörig

YHA Bath is a lovely hostel. The rooms are generously sized (as are the lockers) and they're a great price for having relatively few people. The wifi works well, and linens are included. The one negative is that the hostel is located up a massive hill from the city. It's not a fun walk at all and I highly recommend that you take a taxi from the train station. Just as an FYI, there are sinks and mirrors in the rooms so there's a possibility of inconsiderate roommate noise from that.
