The hostel is located in the bohemian republic of Užupis, a city within a city. It is also just 15 minutes' walk from the 16th-century university of Vilnius and the city's medieval old town with its many galleries and bars.

Facilities include internet access, a TV, a self-catering kitchen and bike rental. There is capacity for 89 guests. The use of bed linen is an obligatory 3 Lt extra on the first night.

Vilnius is home to Europe’s largest Baroque old town and boasts a number of museums, shops and cafes to wander around. Some highlights of the city are the statue of musician Frank Zappa, the Gate of Dawn and, of course, the quirky district of Užupis.

Nice place, but would be better with wifi available in the whole building, and a bigger kitchen with coffee and tea free likein aalmost every hostelling international's hostel.

Not the quality I expect from YHA/ Hostelling International. Kitchen too small, dirty, plates/cups chipped, dirty smelly pots of cold food left on stove and benchtops all day, fridge smelly and overcrowded, no system of guests labeling food, no cubby hole provided for non-fridge food. Sheets were too short for bed, no reading lamp in room. No privacy in bathroom, showers terrible.
