Located only 20 minutes from the city centre, Vienna Brigittenau is a modern hostel which backs on to the Donauinsel - an island in the Danube which offers a variety of leisure activities and hosts Donauinselfest, one of Europe's largest open air festivals. The ‘Millennium City’, with its numerous shops and leisure facilities, is just a stone’s throw away.
The hostel offers dorm rooms with 2-6 beds, most en-suite, free breakfast, free Wi-Fi, a large garden, a lounge with cable TV and other entertainment equipment, Internet terminals and an underground garage with 25 parking spaces. Daily meals are also served, offering a selection of good home cooking and vegetarian dishes.
Hostel Brigittenau is ideally located for visiting the sights of Vienna, whether it’s the historic centre with its beautiful architecture, Baroque castles and gardens or The Kunsthistorisches Museum of Fine Arts.
What travellers think
Hostel is not located in city centre but reachable easily with public transportation. It's good to suggest traveler to buy a day pass / 3-day pass. The lamb bulb of bed-side light is very hot, especially when reading travel guide on bed. Change with a energy saving bulb would be better. The internet wifi signal upstairs is very poor.
