Located in the heart of Venice in a refurbished grain store on Guidecca Island, Ostello Venezia offers great views of the city in a lively and friendly atmosphere. Palladian churches, the Doge's Palace, the Bridge of Sighs and the Peggy Guggenheim Collection are all within easy reach.
This Venice hostel offers a great selection of rooms, from dorms with bed lights and privacy screens, to quads and private en-suites. There’s free Wi-Fi, a lounge to relax and socialise in, a bar to grab a drink and a travel shop where staff will help you plan your visit to all the hidden treasures of the city.
Ostello Venezia is a great starting point to discover Venice and the neighbouring islands of Murano, known for its glass work; Burano, known for its brightly colourful homes and knitted fabrics; and Torcello, an ancient site known for its majestic Romanesque cathedral.
What travellers think
We had a great stay and the hostel was very nice. The "living room" was cool and it was nice to hang out there. Only thing that could be improved is the food you serve. It was quite plain and tasteless.

You need to rethink this venue being included in HIH. It's great for young people who want to party, but it's also a nightclub with loud music and not suited to families or people who do not wan to party. I Think it's great that young people have a place to be and party in Venice but it's not in keeping with the ethos of HIH. The food was bad and you could not get away from the music. If you are not partying or are travelling with a young family this is not the place for you.
