What travellers think

Travellers that stayed here think this hostel is best for

  • Relaxing
  • Sightseeing
  • Sports & Activities
  • Unique atmosphere

I wanted to give it a higher score. Staff was very nice. But... problems with internet, no hot water for three days... make this impossible. The place is squeaky clean but design of place (restrooms, hard "very bright" = loud walls) is quirky at best and not comfortable. Scandanavian minimalist decor will make some guest very happy but I prefer cozy... and it's not. Also, Tavira is best visited between Tuesday and Saturday. Some places are closed Monday and most everything is closed Sunday.

Tavira hostel is one of the most modern and best hostels in Portugal and the staff are friendly and helpful. The location is excellent as it is near the railway station and town centre. Tavira is a interesting and beautiful town and is well worth a visit.

Great hostel with friendly and helpful staff - clean and well appointed, Wi-Fi works fine, Tavira is nice to visit - take a ferry to the island, take a train to V.R.S. Antonio or Olhao.
