YHA Pittwater Eco (Sydney)

YHA Pittwater is a hillside lodge nestled over Morning Bay in Ku-ring-gai National Park. This hostel is an easy escape from the busy city life of Sydney and ideal for groups. Attractions include bush walks to lookouts and Aboriginal engravings, plus from the hostel you can see native birds, wallabies, possums and goannas. Please bring all food with you to the hostel. Due to limited water supply, guests are asked to supply their own linen. Alternatively, linen hire is available for a fee. Getting to the hostel: From Sydney Airport take train to Central Station then bus. The most scenic trip from the city is by catching the Manly ferry from Circular Quay and then the 199 bus from Manly to Mona Vale then changing to the 156 from Mona Vale to Church Point. Alternatively catch the B-Line from the city to Collaroy or Narrabeen then change to the 156 to Church Point. There is a public pay-and-display car park at Church Point. 30km from Sydney CBD – Water access to hostel only via Halls Wharf then 15 minute walk on bush track uphill following YHA signs to hostel. If arriving after dark bring torch to see sign posts and reflective markers. VIA CAR: There is a public pay-and-display car park at Church Point.
