Stayokay Amsterdam Zeeburg hostel is situated east of the centre in a typical Amsterdam neighbourhood. Housed in a former school dating from about 1900, visitors can enjoy ultra-modern facilities in a classical setting.

The hostel is ideally suited to accommodate groups, providing access to various multifunctional areas within the building. The bedrooms are spacious, have private bathrooms, and all rooms are designed by the famous Dutch designer Edward van Vliet. The hostel also has its own restaurant and shares the building with a cinema and theatre – a truly fantastic entertainment combination!

At Amsterdam Zeeburg the city’s must-see attractions are a short 15-minute cycle or tram ride away. Take a tour of the canals by boat, visit world famous museums or head off shopping along the colourful Kalverstraat. And there’s always plenty to do at the hostel in the evening!

Breakfast is good. There was a Japanese guy who slept below me. He was sick at that time and probably I was infected by him. Of course this is not Stayokay's fault. A suggestion, ask guests to self-report their health status and try to seperate the ill guys. And maybe offer soap or hand washing liquid as a standard service. Health is above all.
