Stayokay Amsterdam Zeeburg hostel is situated east of the centre in a typical Amsterdam neighbourhood. Housed in a former school dating from about 1900, visitors can enjoy ultra-modern facilities in a classical setting.
The hostel is ideally suited to accommodate groups, providing access to various multifunctional areas within the building. The bedrooms are spacious, have private bathrooms, and all rooms are designed by the famous Dutch designer Edward van Vliet. The hostel also has its own restaurant and shares the building with a cinema and theatre – a truly fantastic entertainment combination!
At Amsterdam Zeeburg the city’s must-see attractions are a short 15-minute cycle or tram ride away. Take a tour of the canals by boat, visit world famous museums or head off shopping along the colourful Kalverstraat. And there’s always plenty to do at the hostel in the evening!

It was a pleasure staying at stayokay. Had oppurtunity to meet new friends. The place was well maintained. This is one of the few hostels that provides healthy breakfast, so there wasn't a need to hunt for breakfast. Overall, it was a good stay. It's better if the rooms are fitted with lockers for safety.
