Stari Grad (Antic name Faros) is a historic town on one of the most beautiful Adriatic islands - Hvar. Stari Grad is a city of cultural monuments. The most famous are the church of St. John, remains of the church of St. Lucia, the Dominican Monastery (in this monastery there is museum with the oldest stone-inscriptions on Croatian ground, and many archaeological findings from Pharos) and the fortified castle Tvrdalj.

Hostel is equipped with kitchen, dining room, bar and rest area. The accommodation comes in single, double and 3-bedded rooms and all guests have access to the wireless internet.

Stari Grad is also a modern tourist centre with great gastronomy on offer and many sports and recreation facilities. The sea surrounding Stari Grad is well known for its reach sea flora and fauna. There are many wonderful beaches in the town and the surroundings.

Very friendly and helpful staff. Fine meals: e.g. full breakfast, delicious evening meal. We recommended the staff to make work of information about walking facilities in the environment because there is none in the information office of the town. We surely like to come back.
