The HI Siem Reap hostel is a one minute walk across the new footbridge to the heart of Siem Reap and the famous Pub Street; the area where the main gathering of restaurants and bars are located.
All rooms are air conditioned, serviced daily and have a western style bathroom with hot and cold showers. Private rooms have cable TV, and there are three common areas to chill out and relax in. Rooms at the front of the hostel have balconies. There is also a small restaurant and bar onsite, and spa to relax in after a day of Temple touring.
Full tour and travel booking arrangements can be made through our friendly and knowledgeable staff on the front desk. Recommended visits are the Bayan Temple, Phare the Cambodian circus, and the Angkor Wat, the largest religious monument in the world where you can spend almost 2 days touring!
What travellers think
It would be good if there was a kitchen so that you could make yourself a cup of tea or some food. The staff were very helpful about getting boiling water for hot drinks, but it's nice to be able to be independent.

The staff here are really friendly and helpful. A cool drink on arrival is a nice touch. They really tried hard to make you feel welcome. On arrival at Siem Reap, I asked the tuktuk to take me to the youth hostel and he took me instead to another institution which called itself the youth hostel but which actually had not connection with IYHA. That was rather annoying as I then had to arrange and pay for another trip.
