The Shenzhen Loft hostel is a real gem, in a lovely location with wonderful, helpful staff. It is located in the art district, which is quite beautiful, with lots of places to eat out or grab a drink. We found the staff to be friendly and truly eager to assist us (my father was ill on arrival). The hostel itself was light and airy and very clean. Recommended!

All together it was a good experience staying at Shenzhen Loft. It needs to improve in more cleanliness of wash rooms and better WiFi signals.

The place is pretty clean and hospitable. My only wish is that the staff might actually have a response to the question, "What is there to see in town that is interesting or unique?" The clerk just stared at me for about 30 seconds, and then said "I don't know."

One of my FAVORITE hostels anywhere. Really like the layout of the place, and the really cool area its in. I'd recommend it to anyone.

Very great location... love it! However, I've stayed there on two different occasions (different room each time) and each had a caustic paint smell that once left me literally grasping for air in the middle of the night. Depending on the outside air temperature you may have to open the window AND run the airport simultaneously (so much for being 'green'). Staff members 'do their job' but are WAY less than enthusiastic.

I give a poor comfort rating because I found the hostel cold. The weather had turned cold, WIFI only worked downstairs in the common area and it was freezing there. No heating. Likewise the stairwell was cold. The dorm room was just about bearable but only 'cause I went straight to bed. The area was attactive though the hostel was a bit of a walk from the metro. There was a very good supermarket just across the road.
