The Rock & Wood Youth Hostel is ideally located in the central part of Shanghai and is less than a 10 minute walk from the two metro stations. Open 24 hours, this is an ideal base for exploring the exciting metropolis of Shanghai.

Guests can relax in the music lounge, enjoy a film on the large screen in the bar, read books in the reading lounge, or surf the fast and free Internet. Other facilities available include free Wi-Fi, pool table, games, laundry service and meals.

The city is divided into two parts by the Huangpu River: Puxi (west) and Pudong (east). Puxi is the older part of the city and hosts the majority of shops, restaurants and museums. Pudong is the modern part, and is recognised for its rather unusual yet extremely impressive high-rise buildings such as, the Shanghai International Financial Centre, Jinmao Building and the Oriental Pearl TV Tower.

Les chambres sont aérées et la salle de bain bien configurée. Matelas un peu usé, linge propre. A noter la proximité avec une école qui diffuse une petite musique d'entrée en classe a 7h30. Personnel présent pour votre service, petit déjeuner au top!

It's 15 minute walking to the nearest metro station. There is no kitchen, like many other Chinese hostels, but you cannot even eat your own food in the common areas, which I think it's not a good policy.
