If location, location, location is what you want, then Seoul International Youth Hostel is the place to stay. Located in Namsan Park, very close to the downtown area, Namsangol Traditional Korean Village and N-Seoul Tower are a 10 minute walk and Cheonggyecheon recreational park is a 15 minute walk.

Facilities include restaurant, self-catering kitchen, Internet access, laundry, rock-climbing site and a free pick up service by way of reservation. For a little bit of fun the hostel organises a ‘Gangnam Style’ tour! See the history of the Gangnam district and how much the area has changed.

Dongdaemun, Namdaemun Market, Insa dong and Gyeongbok Palace are all 10 minutes by subway. Also visit the Namsan Park which is one of the biggest parks in Seoul.

One thing is that I tried to get the membership for the discounts, but it was very difficult to do. I am processing another reservation, so would you tell me how to get the e-membership asap?

I had such an amazing time. All the staff there was super friendly and helpful for giving me directions. The rooms were always extremely clean. I found it to be an incredibly enjoyable stay and cannot think of a better place to stay in seoul!!!!
