The neighbourhood of Ipiranga, Sao Paulo, in which Alto Do Ipiranga Hostel is located, is undoubtedly one of the most important in Brazil. It was here that Brazil won its independence and the hostel is very near to the Independence Museum and Ipiranga Park.

The Alto do Ipiranga Hostel offers breakfast, Wi-Fi access, TV room, games room, computers, and a kitchen fully equipped and laundry equipped with washing machine. Other facilities include a garden and air conditioning

The hostel is located within walking distance of the Green Line Metro, so you can get the most out of this populous, diverse and intriguing city – the famous Paulista Avenue with its skylines and role as the commercial heart of Sao Paulo is just 20 minutes away on the metro.

The rude manager and poor staff made unpleasant my stay at the hostel .

Staff but a bit concerned some of them couldn't speak much English. I want you to know I was trying Portuguese but, well, like so many hotels and major hostels, staff should know some foreign language. Sending them to college and paying their tuition fees would clearly help.
