Camp lies in the Upper Savinja valley near to a viliage Mozirje (5 km). The valley is 35 km long, named after the river Savinja which is welling out in Logarska valley as the highest waterfall in Slovenija. In village of Nazarje the river Savinja joins with the river Dreta. So there are two rivers in one valley, that's why the valley is wider more and open and offers nice long sunny days. Menina is set in a beautiful area with super friendly staff. There was a minor problem because the booking on the HI site didn't come through, but the people at Menina simply took it in their stride and didn't make an issue out of it. We stayed in a private room (a camper) with fresh linen and towels, they supplied us with lots of tips and brochures for exploring the area.
