Caviahue is a mountain town surrounded by monkey puzzle trees and located within the parque provincial Copahue, Caviahue, which protects an amazing forest of monkey-puzzle trees and houses the only active volcano in Argentina. It is located at the foot of the volcano and on the banks of the Caviahue Lake, that in Mapuche language means, "Place of party and meeting".
The hostel includes a licensed bar, self-catering kitchen, basic shop, common room with television, laundry facilities and bicycle hire.
La Cabaña de Hebe is located 150 metres from the Lake and 1,500 metres from the base of the ski slopes and Buenos Aires. Take part in fun activities in the snow such as skiing, snowboarding, sledding and snowshoe trekking. Visit the Copahue volcano and thermal resort which lies buried by 5 metres of snow.
