Napoleon Hostel is an ideal base for a great and fun stay in Moscow. Guests can relax in a spacious living room, decorated with old Soviet posters, and enjoy a beer in a small bar (the only hostel in Moscow to have a bar!).
In addition to friendly and multi-lingual staff the key facilities of the hostel are: free Wi-Fi, 24 hour reception desk, free lockers, free use of the safe and free tea and coffee at any time. There is also a living room which includes a bar – perfect for socialising with other travellers.
The hostel is located in the Trendy and Cultural Kitai Gorod district, the old town area of Moscow, with cobbled streets, old merchant houses and quaint Orthodox churches. This area is at the heart of Moscow’s night-life and is packed with exciting bars, cheap restaurants, and local supermarkets, all right on the doorstep. All of Moscow’s best attractions can be reached from the hostel on foot e.g. 5 minutes’ walk to Red Square, Kremlin and St Basil’s Cathedral.
What travellers think
The room we've stayed in was enorm messy... It looked like people were living there, instead of sleeping just a couple of nights. All the luggage (clothes, shoes, towels, cosmetics etc) was everywhere and it smelled kind of gross in the room. No fresh air and a couple sharing 1 bed. Staff was sleeping on the couch in the living room (right under the sign: Forbidden to sleep), loud partying until 2 am and leaving a big mess. Good point was the location of hostel, in center close to everything!
