Welcome to our hostel
Mosbach-Neckarelz hostel is set in the 1,000-year-old town of Mosbach. Picturesquely situated between the Odenwald mountain range and the Neckar river, it nestles in a recreational landscape with large forests and scenic meadow valleys.
Accommodation is in 39 rooms, half of which are en suite. There are also 9 en suite rooms for the carers or supervisors of groups. Other features include 6 common rooms, a lounge for carers/supervisors, a disco room, several recreational rooms, parking space for bicycles and a washing machine and dryer for guests. Outside the hostel there is a barbecue area, playing field, volleyball court, outdoor chess and table tennis.
Mosbach lies between the metropolitan areas of Heidelberg, Mannheim, Heilbronn and Würzburg, where the Elz flows into the Neckar. The old town centre, with its romantic half-timbered houses, is perfect for relaxing strolls and the riverside landscape of Elz is right on the hostel’s doorstep. In the local area, guests can visit the Neckarelz Concentration Camp Memorial, Zwingenberg Castle and Wolfsschlucht ravine, the Bödigheim - Eberstadt/stalactite caves and go for boat trips on the Neckar from Neckarzimmern.
