Welcome to our hostel
Modena is a city ripe with culture and gastronomical delights, and HI Modena – San Filippo Neri is right in the thick of it: famous for its balsamic vinegar and as the birthplace of the Ferrari, Modena has the energy, the calendar of events and a cuisine to die for, whilst this hostel has the central location to explore the city with ease.
Accommodation options here consist of twin or three-bed rooms, with separate male and female bathrooms, disabled facilities, and separate reserved bathrooms for families. Make use of our shared kitchen space, vending machines, free Wi-Fi and coined laundry services. Secure lockers and fresh linen are also provided, and although rooms are closed from 10am to 2pm, communal areas are at guests’ disposal all day.
Head out to Bologna, Parma, or Reggio Emilia – all a short drive away. There is also plenty to do and see here: reach Piazza Grande with a few minutes’ walk, explore the UNESCO world heritage site including the Ghirlandina tower and cathedral, and attend festivals throughout the year such as the International Festival of Military Bands (July), the Philosophy Festival (September) and Ski pass - Winter Tourism Fair (in November).
