I was put in a room next door to a public balcony that opened early and I was woken up several mornings by the noise. The gaps around the window frame were sufficient to blow the curtains several inches. The staff were fine, but undermanned. The public space was dark and not conducive to socialising.

room very small, only two elec sockets. this was same in most of hostels we stayed at. now that we all own so many electrical items - phone, camera, hair dryer, e-reader or I-pad - a few more than 2 sockets between two people would make life so much less stressful. kitchen lacked cooking utensils with handles! glasses almost non-existent and some crockery in short supply. some cooking rings were inoperable making a fight for who got there first - especially at evening meal time!

I feel that the room charges that I paid are not commensurate with the facilities. The room charges are very very high. Somebody needs to check and correct this anomaly. The charges I paid is almost that of the charges of a three star hotel.
