Ludwigsburg hostel is set in the baroque town of Ludwigsburg on the eastern outskirts of the town, on the Schlösslefeld field above the Neckar bridge. The hostel has been certified as being a Cultural Hostel meaning children and young people have the opportunity to get to grips with various cultural topics in an experience-driven and contemporary way.
Accommodations are in 22 double and 4 single rooms, 14 four-bed to six- bed rooms and 6 en suite rooms for group leaders room with 2 beds each. There are 5 common rooms with up to 50 seats. 3 common rooms are separated by folding partitions and can be expanded to seat 100 people. The hostel features conference equipment such as a blackboard, CD player, Internet access, Microphone system, overhead projector and much more.
The magnificent heart of the town of Ludwigsburg is the Baroque Royal Palace with its porcelain factory which Duke Carl Eugen founded in 1758; the world famous "Blooming Baroque" park; and the magical fairy-tale garden for the little ones. No less charming are the palaces of Favorite and Monrepos. In the baroque town centre, you'll find the dwellings and birthplaces of Ludwigsburg's famous poets and enjoy chances to go shopping and dining.
