Ideally placed for exploring to the east or the west, Loch Ness Youth Hostel is situated halfway along the banks of the infamous Loch Ness. Only 40 minutes from the newly-created city of Inverness and about two hours from the Isle of Skye, there's plenty to do in the area.

Well-appointed and brilliantly equipped kitchen is ideal for culinary experimentation and little hostel shop has basic tinned foods, snacks and drinks for sale. Internet access is available and bed linen is included.

The Great Glen long distance path passes the door, and the end-to-end Great Glen cycling route is nearby. From the hostel there is easy access to the loch shore, and you will have plenty of opportunities for Nessie-watching from most of the bedrooms. Or you could have a walk up the hills close to the hostel with a great view around Loch Ness to spot its famous resident.

Very relaxing atmosphere at the private beach, nearby surroundings and in loungeroom. Big windows overlooking Loch Ness. The hostel is cosy and clean but a little renovation is needed. Busstop right in front of the hostel so is the great glenway. Bring your own Ale and food!
