I had a good stay, staff was very friendly and helpful. I arrived before check-in time and I was more than welcome to use all the facilities and get myself comfortable with a cup of tea. The common room was a very cosy place, great to hang out after a long day of hiking in the area. The kitchen and bathrooms (in the dorms) could do with a good scrub from top to bottom though, but other than that it was fine and I enjoyed my stay.

Of 5 Irish hostels, one of the best. Kitchen & recycling fairly good (not perfect), beds firm, good for sleep. When population was down, I wish they spread people out more, across the rooms. Some staff, especially Serena, very helpful sharing information about local area. Other staff bored with a person who stayed a few days & still needed information, giving all attention to newbies. Great location for Cliffs of Moher & traditional Irish music in the eves! Relatively good public bus access.
