The Burren hostel is situated in the spa town of Lisdoonvarna, County Clare from where it boasts close proximity to some of Ireland's most famous areas of natural beauty, including the world-renowned Cliffs of Moher, towering 200m above the ocean, and The Burren region – 400sq miles of unique limestone terrain.
The hostel provides an accommodation in single rooms and 4 to 10 bed dorms. Facilities include Internet access, self-catering kitchen, common rooms, garden, Tour bureau and laundry.
It's in a great location directly across the road from traditional music in The Road side Inn, Clare's best pub food in The Wild Honey Inn, and The Burren Smokehouse which supplies some of the best salmon in Ireland. The area is perfect for travellers who love hiking.
What travellers think

I had a good stay, staff was very friendly and helpful. I arrived before check-in time and I was more than welcome to use all the facilities and get myself comfortable with a cup of tea. The common room was a very cosy place, great to hang out after a long day of hiking in the area. The kitchen and bathrooms (in the dorms) could do with a good scrub from top to bottom though, but other than that it was fine and I enjoyed my stay.
