Am I being very old-fashioned? But In all my years of hostelling, there was usually a kind of "curfew" or silence after a certain hour. Out of respect for others who may be sleeping, I have often been reminded myself to keep level of conversation down. And I have no problem with this. On this occasion there was loud noise, shouting and running around corridors VERY late @ night. One night the hum of the showers and the sound of running water being used @ 2a.m.!!
