Very good quality/price rate ! The hostel is quite far from the ski tracks and the city centre (20-25) min at feet, but it isn't really a problem when you don't have ski or stuff to carry. The place is really cosy and people very nice ! I recommand it !

It is a bit far away from the hotel and the center of the town. especially if you have large luggage and visit in a snowing season, you might need to consider other options. however, it's a very clean and nice please to stay

Contrary to my last stay at this hostel, there was no bed linen in the room upon arrival and neither a hint about this in advance (e.g. in the booking confirmation or, ideally also before) nor from the reception at checkin. Since the hostel is several kilometres away from the reception and we only arrived at 11pm after a tiring journey, we had to improvise with our own belongings which, originally, we wanted to avoid unpacking as we were only on thru-travel. Later at checkout, upon explicit inquiry, we were informed about the price of 18€(!!!) per linen set which basically doubles the room price. This price calculation combined with the experienced communication strategy will not be acceptable for me in the future any more. I will definitely avoid this hostel in my future bookings.

Their apartments do not include any wi-fi but in Lapland you can easily do without (and the tourist office provides a free wifi if need be). They are well equiped with most of what you may need to cook and clean the appart (but there is no towel nor sponge) It is a bit far from the city center, so with the loggage I can advice you to borrow one of the free sledge you can find on the way, otherwise you can take a taxi. To my mind, there is no need to take a Northern Lights excursion (except if you want to try snowshoes etc.) because the hostel is ideally located near a lake without public lights, a perfect spot to catch an aurora borealis if you feel like spending your evening to look at the beautiful sky between 9pm and 1am usually and get the chance to see one (you can also check several websites to forecast their probability, but the view is definitely worth it even without this phenomenon).

Decently priced hostel/hotel. Far from the city center and shops, about 2km walking. Quiet and safe.
