Welcome to our hostel
Hostel Lemmenjoen Lumo is situated in the centre of Lemmenjoki village, Finnish Lapland, and it's a gateway to the Lemmenjoki National Park, which
is the biggest one in Finland. Our hostel is in the real wilderness with the gorgeous Lemmenjoki River running by and fells surrounding. The national park is famous for gold digging in the summer months. And you might even meet reindeer right at the doorstep!
Our hostel has rooms at the hostel building and also huts by the forest. We have a cafe with a retro 70's feel and it hosts art exhibitions. We serve homemade pastries and Lappish local food in the cafe. You can also enjoy breakfast buffet (order in advance).
We offer guided tours in the Lemmenjoki National Park and also fishing trips and boat trips at the Lemmenjoki River. You can also play volleyball and darts outside. There are also well signed walking routes in the national park, so you can also go hiking independently.
