This hostel/hotel is outside of town but has very nice and big rooms. The stuff was very courteous over the phone and made sure to be there on our late arrival. Room and bathroom were clean, with AC and ceiling fan. Our room had volcano view (when no foggy!), though was facing the main road that starts getting very busy and loud early morning (around 6am). The breakfast was huge and delicious. You can park the car inside the facilities. Very good overall.

There is no Hostel International branding anywhere except a mousepad. This is basically a cheap hotel on the outskirts of town. Wouldn't stay here unless you had a vehicle. Staff is super friendly though! Free breakfast as well.

Amazingly nice owners and beautiful grounds. I went with my significant other and we enjoyed the privacy compared to many other hostels. The breakfast here is fantastic and I wish I could eat it every day- best fried plantains I've ever had. The only fault we found was that the location is a bit out of town, so you need to either get a cab or (my recommendation) rent a car to get into town and back. Renting a car is easy and very well priced.
