Beautifully situated in a farming village between Wakasa and Kyoto, the hostel is in a thatched building close to a forest and makes a good base for enjoying traditional Japanese life. There are just 13 beds and facilities include laundry, bike hire and meals.

Paid - demanded twice the price I understood when booking. This is a mistery to me - paid 140.000 yen for a night of inferior acomodation

Warm welcome from the owners, comfortable room, and wonderful food! Dinner is highly recommended if you like Japanese home cooking :-)
