Welcome to our hostel
This is at the end of the road. On the treshold to one of the largest and wildest national park, Sarek. In the 1600 silver was found ear to this small mountain village and a silver mill was etablished in Kvikkjokk. The village was visited by early scientist Olof Rudbeckius and in 1732 the famous Swedish botanist Carl von Linne visited Kvikkjokk and exclaimed "this is certainly one of the most beautiful places on the Earth"
The hostel consists of two buildings. The old tourist station from 1928 and newer hostel from the 60th century. In total there are 70 beds in 2 - and 4-bed room. Some rooms have an extra sofa. All rooms have a washbasin. Showers, toilets and drying rooms are in the corridor in both buildings.
