The hostel Kumrovec is located in the Zagorje region, in Croatia, in a beautiful green and peaceful environment, in the center of Kumrovec.
The hostel has a capacity of 63 beds distributed in 11 doble rooms, four 3-bed-dorms, three 5-bed-dorms, one 6-bed-dorm and one 8-bed-dorm., Attraction of surroundings are: Etno museum "Old Vilage", the only open-air museum where is the birth house of former president of Yugoslavia, Josip Broz Tito. The 15 permanent ethnographic displays and the two historical ones provide insight into the traditional ways of life, old customs, handicrafts, and trades some of which have long become forgotten. The visitors are also introduced to historical figures and events connected to Kumrovec and the former Klanjec county at the turn of the 19th century. Near by are the castles Miljana and Veliki Tabor, curia Erdödy. Gallery of Antun Augustincic in Klanjec, monument of national anthem "Ljepa Nasa", chapel of the Mother of god Risvic and many others historical landmarks.
