Best stuff ever, friendly attitude. Best tomato soup in the world! We recommend the location for hiking.

After a long and difficult journey by road we were welcomed and registered without fuss warmly . The situation of the hostel in a large valley which was calm and peaceful taught us a lot about the attraction of Iceland. Our host was friendly, engaging and helpful. We really enjoyed the experience

I loooved the area this hostel was situated in. It is off the main road by a few kilometers (only a small sign on the road signifies the turn off for Korpudular, further down, you'll then see a sign for the hostel itself). The valley of the hostel is beautiful, desolate, and quiet. There are few lights, making a perfect spot to stare gaze or watch the Northern Lights (it was cloudy on the night I was there). I would come here again.

The hostel owner is a very pleasant and friendly man. If you are heading south toward Bildadular and plan on taking the ferry, have the owner call in and reserve a space for you (parking on the ferry is limited).

Pall who runs the hostel is soo nice and helpful. It's a very cozy place in the nature with only a couple of rooms. Unfortunately we booked a double room(for a couple) but got a 4 bed dorm(but for ourselves). But would definitely go there again.

The family that runs this hostel are great, very friendly and helpful. It is most definitely in the middle of nowhere, so ensure you have what you need when you head there, or it's a 30min drive to the nearest supermarket. Also, the small local road leading to the house is primarily used by neighbouring farms and not very maintained, so it's a slow and bumpy ride, but the view and tranquility of the final destination is worth it.
