Chambers of the Boheme is located in the heart of Istanbul's most popular district, Taksim. Housed in a beautifully restored 19th century building, the hostel is just steps from Taksim Square, where guests will find numerous restaurants, pubs and the Atatürk Cultural Center - a multi-purpose cultural centre and opera house.

At the hostel you’ll find both dorms and private rooms, Wi-Fi, barbecue area, a large common area and patio and a late night espresso bar - Cafe Boheme – which is a great place to meet and socialise with other travellers. There’s also a tourist information desk where you can get free city maps and information about Istanbul and Turkey.

Whether you fancy a night of Turkish delights and shisha, a cruise on the beautiful Bosphorus, live music and all-night dancing, or a glance at Istanbul's historical sights; all are within reach when you stay at this great hostel.

Although quite short, I enjoyed my stay. I appreciated the friendliness and helpfulness of the staff and how they cared about being quiet so as not to wake those who are already sleeping. They also very willingly gave directions for places they recommended going within the city. One thing I would suggest to improve are the toilet and shower rooms as they are very squishy.
