Loved our brief stay en route to Skye via Loch Ness. Family room was more spacious than in other hostels, staff were so friendly, kitchen a great size. Overall felt very homely. Thanks.

Very small room for five people. The beds were extremely uncomfortable. The linen was damp and smelly. Didn't get much sleep and woke up with a back ache.

We are very sorry to hear that you were not happy during your stay here at Invergarry Lodge. We strive to provide good quality accommodation at a very competitive price and the feedback we receive from our guests suggests that we meet or exceed expectations in the majority of cases. You should not have been given damp or smelly bed linen, and we apologise unreservedly if this was the case during your stay. We often use volunteers to help with laundry and bed-changing, and as a result of your feedback we have introduced extra checks to ensure that sheets are all fully dried before being put onto beds. We are sorry if you found the room was too small for your needs. Most families who stay with us tell us that the family rooms offer a good space and represent excellent value for money. In addition, the hostel offers very spacious communal areas in which guests can spread out and relax when not in their room. With regards to the beds, we are sorry to hear you found them uncomfortable - we actually get a lot of feedback telling us they are very comfortable. Some people prefer hard mattresses, some prefer them soft... unfortunately as hostel owners we will never be able to please everybody. It is unfortunate that none of these matters were brought to our attention during your stay, so that we were not given a chance to improve your experience. We take the comfort and happiness of our guests very seriously and would have offered new sheets and / or an alternative room if necessary. Thank you for your feedback, we hope you will consider staying with Invergarry Lodge again in the future.

Great stay :-) Only downside was gravel car park, as travelling by motorbike.

I had continental breakfast. There was a MAXIMUM of ONLY 3 bread. I am used to get at hostels international in Scotland as much i want to eat.

Travelling with my son and a couple of his friends. This hostel really set the bar high for the two boys who had never hostelled before. Four-bedded room with shower, massive kitchen and lounge with TV and piano and free wireless and access to a PC. Very comfortable stay
