Hostel Havana is located on the banks of the Vltava River, in the historical part of Český Krumlov (UNESCO).
The hostel offers a variety of rooms with river views, all of which have shared bathroom facilities. Cook your meal in a fully-equipped kitchen, watch a movie in a common area and enjoy free Wi-Fi and computer access. There is a garden with fire pit and a grassy spot by the river for you to hang out, and relax.
You can rent a raft, canoe, or bicycle directly at the hostel, which includes pick-up, drop-off, and full equipment. A lazy stroll will take you to the main town square in about 10 minutes. Here you can find a newly opened synagogue, the Egon Schiele studio, the Seidl Photo Studio Museum, and a newly reconstructed town park. This part of town enjoys a very pleasant and home-like atmosphere.
What travellers think
I booked a bed in "Hostel Havana" on 8th April for one night. On 8th April, I received a letter for "Hostel Havana" saying it has currently being reconstructed. I was forced to stay in pension Ve Dvorku. The staff insisted it was good because I would have my own washroom. However that was not what I needed. Moreover the location is really far away for the city centre. THe view outside the window was terrible. It is a construction site outside and I even saw a naked old man from the window!
