There is a bit of mold in the shower stalls. Also, and I don't know if I've stayed at a hostel that DOES have it, but ventilation from the bathrooms would be nice.

I had to pay more than I was supposed to and don't really know why so it would be nice to give receipt or facture when we pay. The bathroom was really really dirty. Would be nice to have curtains on bed and lockers under as in all the hostels I have been before.

Thanks for the feedback! We appreciate any notes that we receive. The price differences are usually a case of Member/Non Member rates, and then the 13% tax in Canada. I'm sorry to hear that you were left with some confusion. I hope we can have the chance to host you again in the future!

HI Toronto Hostel,

Wed 18 Oct 2017

I stayed in a 6 room dorm. One of the guys was a older gentleman who was very disruptive. He turned the lights on at 3:30 in the morning to pack. He also used his phone loudly at the same time. It turned the heat up in the room during all 4 days of my stay, (even though it was more than 70 degrees outside). I asked him politely to please be considerate of his roommate but he refused. He was very tough to share a room with.

That's frustrating to hear. Hostels are such a great thing but occassionally you'll have someone inconciderate ruin the experience for other people. I hope you still choose to stay with us in the future! - Travis
