Welcome to our hostel

Located on the west coast of Vancouver Island, Tofino is British Columbia's secret paradise! HI-Tofino, Whalers on the Point Guesthouse was constructed in 1999 with your comfort in mind and provides guests with the opportunity to meet and interact in its spacious living and dining rooms. To ensure a good night's sleep, guests can also relax in the sauna or shoot a game of pool in Whalers' games room., The town of Tofino, B.C. is the gateway to Clayoquot Sound on the wild west coast of British Columbia. Stroll one of many boardwalks in Pacific Rim National Park and revel in the majesty of the old growth rainforest. Whalewatching is incredible, as each year, 20,000 Gray Whales migrate past Tofino on their way to their summer feeding grounds in the waters of Baja Mexico.

Surf the breakers at Long Beach, part of Canada's Pacific Rim National Park, or kayak through a vast archepelego of islands in beautiful Clayoquot Sound. Try deep sea fishing and discover a new underwater world snorkeling or scuba diving. Finish it all off with a visit to Hot Springs Cove for a long soak in a natural hot spring.

Outstanding staff that went out of their way to make this hostel the friendliest place on earth: we had a potluck Christmas Eve dinner, Christmas Day dinner, and huge muffins baked every morning (that was in addition to our own breakfast). We also liked cozy fireplace where we spent our early mornings and late evenings.

I loved staying in this hostel. It's clean, great location and comes with a sauna. The bed is already made up upon arrival. Only downside is that you have to pay 2 dollars if you want to rent a towel.
