Welcome to our hostel

Located on the west coast of Vancouver Island, Tofino is British Columbia's secret paradise! HI-Tofino, Whalers on the Point Guesthouse was constructed in 1999 with your comfort in mind and provides guests with the opportunity to meet and interact in its spacious living and dining rooms. To ensure a good night's sleep, guests can also relax in the sauna or shoot a game of pool in Whalers' games room., The town of Tofino, B.C. is the gateway to Clayoquot Sound on the wild west coast of British Columbia. Stroll one of many boardwalks in Pacific Rim National Park and revel in the majesty of the old growth rainforest. Whalewatching is incredible, as each year, 20,000 Gray Whales migrate past Tofino on their way to their summer feeding grounds in the waters of Baja Mexico.

Surf the breakers at Long Beach, part of Canada's Pacific Rim National Park, or kayak through a vast archepelego of islands in beautiful Clayoquot Sound. Try deep sea fishing and discover a new underwater world snorkeling or scuba diving. Finish it all off with a visit to Hot Springs Cove for a long soak in a natural hot spring.

Great place in an awesome location, very clean, with helpful staff. Only downside is how packed it was. Hard to find space to cook in the evening, parking is a bit of a hassle (they double park, and you have to turn in your keys), and the WiFi gets overloaded. Also would be a nice touch to have free coffee instead of charging $2...

Very clean hostel - social in the common areas but quiet in the bedrooms. A well equipped kitchen.

Albergue precioso. La única pega es que no hay enchufes individuales en cada litera para poder cargar el móvil por la noche.

Please create a space in the kitchen for empty plastic containers that people can reuse to pack food for hikes, etc. Also a place for spare clean plastic bags for reuse. Label these area well - the kitchen resources are not well labeled. I was surprised that the office is sometimes closed at night, even when it's busy. Was told the staff were all at dinner. Surprised that staff didn't take turns having dinner so someone would always be at the desk. Otherwise, great folks & gorgeous place!
